The steep and rocky terraces of Liathach exemplify the stunning geology of Torridon and its breathtaking ridge provides a challenging, exciting and rewarding day’s scramble. A particular highlight of this adventure was seeing a family of ptarmigan shuffling along the ridge with us. As with so many evenings on the West Coast of Scotland, the sky ignites with red during the best of sunsets.
